7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad checks
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71, repeat 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 currently are defendants in lawsuits
and
84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year
Can you guess which organization this is?

it's the 535 members of the United States Congress. The same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each yeardesigned to keep the rest of us in line.
You gotta pass this one on!
AND THEY JUST VOTED THEMSELVES A $15,000 PER MONTH PENSION FOR LIFE AFTER SERVING ONLY ONE TERM IN CONGRESS !!!
I dislike politicians because they are so insincere. They act as if they have a noble cause and they represent the working class, but they make gross amounts of money during and after their terms. The dollar is at an all-time low and gas costs $4.09 a gallon in San Diego and now each Congressmen gets $15,000/month for life. No wonder our economy sucks. Talk about a drain on the system. So much for serving the country.

you see what i mean when i said that dad's forwards were making me irritated at the gov't.... look at you posting it up for the world to see :-) having just finished the american revolution chapter and starting the constitution chapter with the kids, can you think of any way to work in this agenda in an appropriate way?
Abuse of powers? Discussion about how the system does not work perfectly. Maybe these are things that are above the 5th grade level. I'm sure your parents want their kids believing they live in utopia and santa clauss will bring them whatever they ask for for xmas.
